Can Colleges Do Better Preventing Sexual Harassment In Workplace?

This article acknowledges that while colleges and universities take sexual harassment very seriously they are not taking the necessary precautions on the preventive side and focusing more on following the rules and laws after the fact.

It describe a new employment law term known as “pass the harasser” which allows employees to get new jobs without their new place of work ever even being made aware of past transgressions or conduct.

The article asserts colleges and universities must do more on the investigative side and be much better at screening new hires for past sexual misconduct.
