Brooklyn Parks Getting Refresh

The city is committing to spend $109 million on fixing up Brooklyn parks. Across the whole city New York has 104 construction projects of over $417 million to repair, renovate and upgrade parks.

Mayor Adams says that the parks are necessities for neighborhoods and community building.

All these projects kicking off coincide with the new city budget negotiations, including just how much of his campaign promised funding the Parks Department will actually get.
